Please email me at coacharni@aol.com or leave a comment with your email and I'll email you! If you would prefer to call you may do that, but we will have to get in touch by email so that I can call you! I don't feel like I need to post my phone number just for security reasons. If you are referred by someone, just get in touch with that person, they can in turn get in touch with me and I'll give them my phone # or they can give me yours and I'll call you. Thanks for the patience! All dresses in stock are $20.00 if you want a special order, I'll give you a quote! Thanks again for supporting Giving to Guatemala!

Pillowcase Dresses for GT!

These are a couple of the different dresses that I am selling for Guatemala. These dresses are hand made and come in various sizes. They are great because they are totally adjustable and can be worn for a couple of years. All you do it take the dress and throw leggings underneath it and it becomes the cutest top. I will post the sizes of each one, that I have in stock. Dresses in stock are $20.00 profits are going to Guatemala! If you are interested in something you don't see I will take special orders! If you would like to order or a quote than just email me at coacharni@aol.com.

This dress Karis has on is a size 5, I think. I will have to measure it. This is the halloween pattern of fabric I have. I will post sizes tomorrow with the other pictures.

Kaya has on a 12 month dress and Karis has on a 18 month old dress. It's too short, but just imagine leggings under it too cute. (She's a 5/6.)

How I Can Help

If you are interested in getting involved we have several ways to help!

1. Fabric donations- Yes I said fabric. Some of the classes at my school are going to make apron and potholders to give to the woman that are helped.

2. Sponsor an item or two- We are asking groups to sponsor and item or two so that they can concentrate on certain areas. If you have a group that would be interested please leave a comment.

3. Save your change- We are asking for people to start saving change in order to buy food when the group gets to Guatemala. That way they can have more room to pack the donated items. See item #4 for information on where to send the $$

4. Sponsor a family or give directly to the mission trip - Feed a family in Guatemala for 26.00 a week. Build a house for 500.00

Monetary donations should go to:
Northeast Christian Church
Attn: Andrea Culliton
13309 Magisterial Drive
Louisville, KY 40223
Make your check out to Northeast Christian Church and write either Guatemala - Food Distribution or Guatemala - House in the memo

5. Check back in for more ways to give. More info to come!

Guatemala on my mind

Most of you who know me know that Guatemala has a special place in my heart. My little girl was born there and when I went to pick her up I feel in love with the country, the people, and the
children of Guatemala. I have felt called to help the place where my heart was opened! Some of my friends whom I met through the Louisville Latin Families group are going on a mission trip and I have made it my mission to help them gather the supplies for their trip. I am seeking help from any organization that you feel would benefit from helping others. As groups sign up I am giving them one or two items to concentrate on so that their needs list will be fulfilled. If you have a large group, I would love to include the whole list so that there will be a variety of items so that everyone can participate.

Why should you participate?
Like I said before, this is where my heart is. I can’t explain the feeling only that I feel I have been called to help. I would love in the future to actually accompany Lori and Rob on a trip, and plan on it, but I don’t feel right now would be the time. I do know I can help, but not without you.
The people of Guatemala are very poor and most live in homes with dirt floors. 98% of the water is non-potable and malnutrition is rampant. Birth defects and numerous health concerns are the result
Please help by giving to Guatemala.
